Eggceptional Easter activities for Families taking place across the county

Children's Easter Egg Hunt

Throughout the Easter holidays, families across Worcestershire are encouraged take part some of the free hopping good activities taking place at venues and Family Hubs across the county this April.

Organised by Starting Well Partnership, which provides support to parents, families, children, and young people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives across Worcestershire these events are open to all:

  • Easter Egg Hunts:
    • 4th April from 11am-1pm at Lickhill Park, Stourport-on-Severn
    • 5th April from 11am-12pm or 1pm - 2pm at Sanders Park, Bromsgrove
    • 11th April from 11am-1pm at Broadwaters, Kidderminster 
    • 13th April from 11am-12pm or 1pm - 2pm at Arrow Valle Country Park, Redditch
  • Easter Eggstravaganza on 10th April from 1pm – 5pm at Fort Royal Park, Worcester
  • Easter themed stay and play sessions for 0–8-year-olds - on 3rd and 13th April at Family Hubs in Wyre Forest

Spaces at some of these events are limited, so we recommend booking your space as soon as possible, and you can do this by heading over the events section of the Starting Well Partnership website where you can also discover the full range of events taking place throughout the year.

At the heart of the communities we serve, Family Hubs not only act as venues for fun-filled family events, but they provide children, young people, and families a centralised location to access:

  • Parenting support groups/courses
  • Well Child clinics
  • Self-Weigh clinics
  • Breast Buddies groups
  • Toddler groups
  • Healthy Start Vitamins

The 9 Starting Well Partnership Family Hubs are open daily apart from weekends and bank holidays – so will be closed on Good Friday (7th April) and Easter Monday (10th April) come snow, rain, or shine.

Louise Langston, Clinical Service Manager for Starting Well Partnership said, “Our Family Hubs provide vital safe spaces within our local communities, to support all aspects of physical and mental wellbeing for children, young people and their families.”

The Starting Well Partnership is led by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, the Partnership brings together professionals from Barnardo’s, Action for Children, and Redditch Borough Council to support ‘parents to be’ and their children during the early years and as they move through school towards adulthood.
