Feel good festive fun at local Family Hubs across the county

This festive season, families across Worcestershire are encouraged to visit a local Family Hub located around the county to get involved in the range of Christmas activities taking place including.

  • Storytime with Santa - on 6th and 13th December at our Family Hubs in Wyre Forest
  • Dummy Elf ‘met and greet’ events - at several venues across Redditch and Bromsgrove on 6th, 8th, and 20th December 
  • Christmas stay and play sessions - on 21st and 22nd December

The Starting Well Partnership Family Hubs, are at the heart of the communities we serve and not only act as venues for fun-filled family events, but provide children, young people, and families a centralised location to access:

  • Parenting support groups/courses
  • Well Baby clinics
  • Self-Weigh clinics
  • Breast Buddies groups
  • Toddler groups
  • Healthy Start Vitamins

Louise Langston, Clinical Service Manager for Starting Well Partnership said, “It’s fantastic that our Family Hubs provide safe spaces within our local communities, to support all aspects of physical and mental wellbeing for children, young people and their families.”

The Starting Well Partnership provides support to parents, families, children, and young people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives across Worcestershire. Led by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, the Partnership brings together professionals from Barnardo’s, Action for Children, and Redditch Borough Council to support ‘parents to be’ and their children during the early years and as they move through school towards adulthood.
